At new year parties, we all indulge ourselves in meals and drinks that ultimately lead to growth in weight. It’s very necessary that we recover our figure and reduce the excess flab. Below are some asanas and mudras which can help you eliminate those extra kilos so you may have a blast without any tension.

Combine the feet. Tighten the elbows and knees. Draw back the shoulder. Stretch the arms overhead and then increase the heels

Bhujangasana

  • Lie down on your stomach
  • Keep the palms on the floor and both the hands near the sides of the chest. The elbows should be raised up. The legs should be straight and also the elbows should join together
  • Inhale and lift the chest and head upward. The lower portion of the navel should get to the floor
  • Whilst lifting the head, bend the neck just as far as you can
  • Remain in this position for about 30 seconds

Trikonasana

  • Keeping a distance of one foot between the legs stand straight. Both the hands ought to be spread towards the shoulders
  • Inhale and bring the left hand in the front and rest it on the left paw on the floor, otherwise, keep the hand close to the ankle and lift the proper hands upwards and bend the neck to the right side and look at the right hand
  • Afterward while exhaling comeback into the first position and repeat the exercise from the other side

Katichakrasana

  • Maintain a space of one foot between the legs and stand directly
  • Spread the palms on the shoulders, the palms must be straight facing the ground
  • Twist the ideal hand from the front and keep it onto the left shoulder
  • Twist the left hand from the backside and keep it on the waist
  • The palm of the hand that’s on the waist will be towards the upside
  • Now turn the neck. Repeat on the other side
  • In this manner do 5 repetitions on each side

Dwichakrikasana

  • Lie down on your back and keep the palms below the hips, hold the breath, lift 1 leg fold up into the knee, bring the ankle near the hip and rotate at a concentric motion
  • Repeat this by 10 to 30 days as per the capacity. Likewise repeat the exercise with the next leg
  • Rotate the legs without even touching the ground. Take the right hand behind the back
  • Hook the hands of the left hand with fingers of the right hand

Drink hot honey and water

  • Whenever you are hungry, drink a cup of warm water that includes 1 tsp honey along with 10 drops of lime juice this will be a fantastic substitute for eating and helps melt the fat
  • It will also be helpful for you to choose Triphala every evening. At least 1 hour after supper, pour 1 cup of boiling water 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Triphala, let it soak for 10 minutes and then beverage

Snacks you can afford to eat

  • Between meals, if you like to munch, eat raisins, which are a mild peppermint. Do not eat corn chips, that are fatty and salty and hard to stop eating. Do not eat popcorn either. You might also try celery sticks or carrot sticks.
